Hello everyone! I am extremely sorry for not posting anything for a long time in this category, but as requested on my Twitter there will also be a hair care post published in the near future. This post is about skin care (on face) and about getting rid of acne. Things I apply to my skin: Clindamycin Mixa Weleda How I clean my face: #1 I wash my face almost every night with water only and I gently dry it with a towel #2 After washing and drying my skin I use Mixa micellar water to moisturize my skin, but I do this only once or twice a week For acne I use Clindamycin which I put on a swab and then on the acne that is causing some problems. I find Clindamycin very helpful, but 15 minutes after putting it on your skin you must rinse it off and apply a creme that you normally use. The creme I use is from Weleda and it is for sensitive skin. I apply it every day and it is a great moisturizer too. What I avoid: #makeup I don't use makeup very often beacuse I am too lazy to take it off when I go home and I don't want to destroy my skin like that And that is it for today, if you have some great skin care hacks leave it in the comments! :)

First of all, I would like to apologize for not posting anything in a long time. But as you know it was Christmas and it is the time of year which you spend with your family and I hope you've had an amazing time. Since New Year's Eve is today I thought I would share with you some tips on how to survive it without embarrassing yourself.
Happy New Year!
#1 DON'T BRING YOUR PHONE
I'm not kidding on this one because if you know that you'll get drunk, you are probably going to send billions of messages to your ex. And I think you don't want that, am I right? I mean, send them a message now if you still like them, but don't embarrass yourself by texting while drunk.
#2 wear comfy shoes
You know how last year you couldn't get out of your bed for a week cause you wore the 'perfect', but awfully painful shoes? Well if you do remember that horrible night, don't let that happen to you again. My advice is that if the shoe doesn't fit perfectly in the store, DON'T BUY IT (or do but if you end up like last year, don't tell me I haven't warned you). And yes, I realize that you may have found a great shoe for your outfit but if it doesn't fit, it just doesn't. I know that you are fooling yourself with the 'oh I'll just wear them for a couple of days until they stretch' , but honey, believe me, they won't. Learn from my mistakes (or your own) and don't let that happen again.
#3 wear durable make up
Take some time to do your make up and don't forget to put a moisturizer before putting any make up products on, because your make up will last longer and that is pretty much your goal for tonight. Also, remember to take your make up with you so you can tidy up if anything happens.
#4 bring earplugs
These are useful if you hate the sound of fireworks but you still have to go out and see them. But don't be a party breaker and don't sit on the couch the whole evening, have fun and enjoy yourself.
This is pretty much it, so everyone I wish you a happy New Year, have a great time and let me know how it went!
Do you have any New Year resolutions that could actually happen? Let me know if you do! I've just figured out that Christmas is a week away and I realized that I haven't got a shopping list :(( So this post is dedicated to all of you who still don't have a Christmas shopping list because you forgot or because you don't have any inspiration. #1 a diy present This is not actually something that will take you 10 hours to make, but in fact it is one of those 10-minute projects that are easy to make and that are going to mean a lot to your family or friends. You can either make a card or if you are good in drawing thing you can make a stenciled jar vase or a cup. #2 books We all have that friend who loves to read books, so why not buying one for them? First you'll need to find out which author is their favorite or what kind of books they like to read, and the rest is easy. You can also wrap it in brown paper (I'm not really a fan of those glowing over-the-top wrapping papers) or you can make a star (instructions here). #3 luxury goods If you don't have a limited budget buy a watch or a bag. My all time favorite watch brand is Daniel Wellington. I love the simplicity of those watches and they go with any combination. And for men I think that Hublot is a pretty good brand, and they have some great watches for your brother/boyfriend/husband. If you decide to buy a designer bag for your sister/girlfriend/wife, buy her a Givenchy or a Celine and I guarantee that she will be thankful and happy. Daniel Wellington watch Hublot watch Givenchy handbag (you can find it in the Givenchy App) Celine handbag #4 perfume Perfumes are a great present, but DON'T buy one if you don't know the person's taste. The best women perfumes (in my opinion) are Bvlgari - Omnia Crystalline (but all Bvlgari parfumes are great) and Lancome - La Vie est Belle. And for men I can recommend Paco Rabanne - 1 Million. But as I said before, do not buy a parfume for a person which taste you don't know. |
